După victoria din finala contra lui Juan Martin Del Potro de la Flushing Meadows, Novak Djokovic a ajuns la 14 trofee de Grand Slam, egalându-l astfel pe americanul Pete Sampras. Elvețianul Roger Federer este primul în topul A.T.P. din toate timpurile cu 20 de finale de Mare Șlem câștigate, fiind urmat de spaniolul Rafael Nadal (17).
