Within Temptation collaborated with Metal legend Howard Jones (Ex-Killswitch Engage) for the second single of their upcoming album 'Hydra'.
'Dangerous' is one of the album's heaviest tracks. Howard Jones' epic vocals are a perfect fit for Sharon's. "I always loved Howard's voice," she says. "He makes the song even heavier than it already is. That song is one of my favorite songs on the record and one of the fastest we've ever written. It has the most bass drums we've ever used, too, and a very fast riff which we doubled with synths. It's not a typical synthesizer, though -- it's distorted like a guitar, and it's very aggressive."

Indian Summer (lyrics):
Waiting for an Indian summer
For the time we lost, to come alive
Kiss me and my body will shudder
September skies electrified
I’ve been waiting here a 100 nights,
watching everybody drink our wine
And I’ve been wondering why
I didn’t have you by my side
Can you give me an encore, one more to end the show
I didn’t get what I came for, came for, the afterglow
Show me what it takes for the dead to rise
Just say the word and I’ll paint the skies
For an Indian summer… to come alive
Praying love will never go under
A harvest moon to light the skies
Autumn leaves one after another
You make me watch the flowers dry
I’ve been waiting here a 100 nights,
watching everybody drink our wine
I’ve been wondering why I didn’t have you by my side
Can you give me an encore, one more, to end the show
I didn’t get what I came for, came for, the afterglow
Show me what it takes for the dead to rise
Just say the word and I’ll paint the skies

Just say the word and I’ll paint the skies

MY INDIGO LYRICS:
I call what we have indigo
Unclear what we are
but what we know
And though you never take my hand even when I rais your shiprack from the sand.
And though you never count the cost, of the innocence you've lost and what it meant
You don't have to love me
there's one thing you should know, my love will not unravel
It's unconditional, my indigo
Even when the heart won't let show, you don't have say, to let me know (2x)
My indigo...
Ink burns on the page blue to black, but words are fireproof
can't take back
While the memory's alive
When there's pennies on our eyes we'll never rest.
Can we take a second now
to rain down the heavy storm that's on our chest.
You don't have to love me
there's one thing you should know, my love will not unravel
It's unconditional, my indigo
Even when the heart won't let show, you don't have say, to let me know (2x)
My indigo...
You don't have to love me
there's one thing you should know, my love will not unravel
It's unconditional,
MY INDIGO!
Even when the heart won't let show, you don't have say, to let me know (2x)
MY INDIGO!
I call what we have indigo…

Right after summer, it's time for the full 'Mirage' album to take over. Inspired and influenced by many different types of music, 'Mirage' is more diverse than any other Armin album before. His collaboration with Sophie Ellis-Bextor, 'Not Giving Up On Love' is a perfect example of that, combining the best of both worlds. Armin:"The Nervo Sisters, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and me met up to write the vocals for 'Not Giving Up On Love'. I was thrilled to work with them on this. We gave it a more analog feel with some real drums, to give it a pop-rock feel. We also put a piano top line on the track and then the vocals of Sophie, which I think is a win. It's a lush summer tune with an epic vocal that gets stuck in your head and cheers you up!"
'Mirage' is filled with musical fusions and surprising interpretations, from the orchestral masterpiece of title track 'Mirage', deep trance track 'I Don't Own You' and housy 'Feels So Good' to the eerie 'Take A Moment' and feel-good 'Drowning'. 16 tracks that highlight how Armin has matured as an artist.
