Lyrics / Versuri Mr. Gong & June - Back to Mexico
Late july, on my mind,
Chasing shadows on the dusty roads
Holding hands, in your van
Sun was touching half our faces.
Eh oh eh oh eh oh eh oh
Take me back to Mexico
Eh oh eh oh eh oh eh oh
Look how fast the time flows!
Eh oh eh oh eh oh eh oh
Take me back to Mexico
Eh oh eh oh eh oh eh oh
Dancing when the beat is slow.
You were betting against me
It was never gonna work we
Never made the time
For our lovin', for our lovin'!
People used to tell me
Go on with it and be free
Everything will change
For you baby, for you baby!
I remember how you looked at me
Like it's never gonna end...
Baby will you stay with me?
Will you stay with me?
Eh oh eh oh eh oh eh oh
Take me back to Mexico
Eh oh eh oh eh oh eh oh
Look how fast the time flows!
Eh oh eh oh eh oh eh oh
Take me back to Mexico
Eh oh eh oh eh oh eh oh
Dancing when the beat is slow.
Dancing when the beat goes on x repeat
Dancing when the beat goes slow!

STING. Aniversarea zilei
Sting (născut pe 2 octombrie, în anul 1951) îşi aniversează astăzi ziua de naştere.
Sting - Englishman In New York
Sting and Cheb Mami - Desert Rose
Sting - When We Dance (Blue Screen Version)
Sting - Fragile
Sting - Fields Of Gold
Câmpuri de aur
Dacă un vânt de vest
Bate peste şes,
Să-ţi aminteşti de mine,
Şi de-un soare blând
Pe pământ curgând,
Câmpu-n aur îmbrăcând.
Aşa încep sortiri,
Marile iubiri,
Pe-un câmp galben de soare.
Braţ la braţ mergând,
Vântul blând zburând
Printre moi, plete de nor.
Mai rămâi puţin
Printre amintiri,
Dar mi-e teamă că-i amăgire,
Iluzie, e rătăcire,
Că ceva în noi s-a rupt.
În dulcea briză de şoapte,
Grei de aur, stând în câmp.
Au trecut mulţi ani,
Multe veri, şi plec
Spre locuri de-altădată,
Dar văd doar copii
Ce se joacă-n grâu,
Sub un cer topit de-azur.
Mă plimb trist pe-un câmp
Plin de-aur sub vânt,
Vânt cald de vest, în vară
Şi-mi mai amintesc,
Apoi o pornesc
Înapoi spre-oraşul surd.
(versuri de Sting din Ten Summoner's Tales, traducere de Luminiţa Soare)
