Jukebox lansează „Sexy foc”, un single fresh, plin de energie, cu un sound catchy, elemente funk și dance și multă voie bună. Compusă de către Marius Rozsdas și Andi Banică și produsă în studiourile Magic Juice, „Sexy foc” este o piesă ce te duce cu gândul la momentele când distracția începea alături de prieteni într-un club, la concerte, iar toată lumea rezona la unison pe aceleași ritmuri live. Însoțită de un lyric video cool ce completeza prin imagini mood-ul piesei, „Sexy Foc” este a doua piesă pe care Jukebox o lansează anul acesta.

Hello everyone !!

Hope things are good with all of you …

Here is the very last video from the runaway series !!! Number 28 I believe ….. its been quite a journey and I am so so thankful to all of you who have come along for the ride :-) one last massive thank you also to jarrad seng , stu larsen and chris vallejo for helping me bring this ridiculously ambitious project to life !!!!!!

This final one is “lets go” and its a big mashup / montage of the entire road trip .

It was all shot on an old super8 camera that jarrad seng borrowed for the trip . The idea was that we would have it lying around and it would be up to all four of us to pick it up every now and then and film a load of little snapshots of our adventure .

The thing is , unless you’re an expert its very difficult to know if the thing is actually working or not so we had no idea if we were doing it right and if there would be anything to show for it all at the end …. Luckily it did work and the video below is the result .

It feels like a very long time ago now that we were cavorting around America filming all of this . So much has happened since . I’d like to sincerely thank all of you that have bought / streamed / watched / shared and listened to the album . The love has been phenomenal . Also to the thousands of you that came along to the shows - thank you for supporting me and my music and for making the gigs so special .

Thank you also to my wonderful touring family - thomas , chris , simon , Ian and Roxy and also my management team - dan , rebekah , Fran and everyone at i.e . Thank you for caring so much and working so hard .

One last special thanks to my amazing support acts - lucy rose , ken yates , winterbourne , chris simmons , stephanie fisher , luke thompson and eddie berman . What a damn pleasure !!!!

We have two more left for the year - PERTH this evening which is sold out and then on Sunday we’re at the @3 oceans winery in MARGARET RIVER for which there are still some tickets available so if you’re in this neck of the woods then come down and celebrate the end of this massive year with us :-)

I will be doing a small amount of touring next year too and we have some really exciting news on that coming shortly so watch this space ….

In the meantime though . A genuine and heartfelt thank you for allowing me to make the music that I love and share it with the world .

Hello you lot ! How are you all ?

we’ve been having the most excellent time here in NORTH AMERICA :-) VANCOUVER and SEATTLE were exceptional and looking forward to playing in PORTLAND this evening ! I really do love the north west :-)

here is the 9th video from “RUNAWAY” and it's for a song called “ HE LEAVES YOU COLD”

This is by far the oldest song on the record . It was written over ten years ago when I was in my early twenties and to be really honest I’d all but forgotten about it and certainly never imagined it would eventually find its way on to a record .

Usually when I make an album I go in to the studio with twelve to fifteen songs and once they’re recorded we pick the best ten or eleven . With runaway I was convinced that I had the ten songs for the record and foolishly didn’t record any backups …. Of course when listening back to everything on the final day of recording with the band there was one song that for whatever reason hadn’t quite come out as well as the other nine .

My producer chris asked if there were any other songs floating about that might fit well . I spent several hours going back through the archives and eventually remembered this one . I was sceptical at first and found it hard to believe that a song written so long ago could co exist with all of my newest ones . I’m so glad that we ended up giving it a go . It actually ended up being a really important moment on the album and I’ve had a number of people saying that its they’re favourite (don’t know what that says about my song writing trajectory haha ;-))

For the video , tbh there wasn’t much of a plan other than to end up somewhere wintery and beautiful . That place turned out to be ASPEN, COLORADO …. An absolutely beautiful little ski town nestled within the Rocky Mountains (special to any dumb and dumber fans …. I fucking love that movie!!!)

We only had one day to make it so we opted to keep it very simple .

Needless to say it was absoluty freezing and kept the running theme of uncomfortable filming environments going beautifully ;-)

As always a mahoooooooosive thank you to my buddy jarrad Seng photography for filming and editing and to stu larsen and chris Vallejo for braving the weather with us .

We’ve thrown so much content at you guys over the last few months … thank you all so much for your continued support . Watch , enjoy and share with your friends if you can .

im really looking forward to kicking off the NORTH AMERICAN TOUR in a couple of days in NASHVILLE which apparently has just SOLD OUT !

This is “EAGLE BEAR BUFFALO” and we had the immense pleasure of hanging out in Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding area for a few days whilst making it .

This was definitely one of the highlights of the trip ! I’ve always dreamed of going to this place and it absolutely lived up to expectation :-)

As always a huge thanks to Jarrad Seng Photography for the beautiful cinematography and also to Rachel Cudmore for being such a fantastic guide and for showing us this magical place .

I’m very proud to present the video for 'Nina Cried Power', directed by Jon Hozier-Byrne and Patrick Ryan.

This song was intended as a thank you note to the spirit and legacy of protest; to the artists who imbued their work with the vigour of dissent, and a reflection on the importance of that tradition in the context of the rights, and lives, we enjoy today. My hope for this video is much the same.

Ireland has undergone a socio-cultural sea change, the results of which will benefit generations to come. We are witness to a new Ireland waking to the consciousness of itself; a kinder, more inclusive nation. This video is an attempt to acknowledge just a handful of those who have fought for this new Ireland, and whose work continues to inspire me.

Hello everyone , hope you’re all really good !

Here is the seventh video from our “runaway” roadtrip series . This one was shot in Detroit and is called “GHOST TOWN” .

I have only ever played once in Detroit - a few years ago at a beautiful old venue called the filmore and it was definitely one of the stand out shows of the tour .

I have to be honest , before that evening I was quite unaware of what the city had been through . We had a few beers and a chat with some locals after the show and they gave me a brief history lesson ….

The birth place of Motown and once the thriving home to much of the American motor industry (General Motors , ford etc ) the city then fell on hard times as cars became cheaper to make over seas .

Many of the factories and plants closed down leaving thousands of workers unemployed and with few prospects .

Over the years more and more people left Detroit in search of opportunity and as a result houses and in some cases entire neighbourhoods were completely abandoned .

I remember this idea really sticking with me . The thought of a real life ghost town was so sad and bizarre .

A few years later I wrote this song .

We spent two days filming there on our trip and it was quite an overwhelming experience . Driving through silent streets that would have once been bustling neighbourhoods and walking in to abandoned houses still full of peoples discarded possessions and old lives . it was deeply sad and honestly quite a difficult couple of days .

I hope we’ve captured some of the mood and atmosphere with this video .

Ps I need to say that this is only the situation in a few areas and Detroit for the most part seems like a really cool town . The last thing I want to do with this song is to paint an unfair picture of the place or offend anyone !!!
