Americanul Childe Hassam şi picturile sale - 20

Frederick Childe Hassam (n. 17 octombrie, 1859, Boston, Massachusetts - d. 27 august, 1935, East Hampton, New York) a fost un mare pictor impresionist american, ilustrator şi litograf. A realizat peste 3000 de opere şi a fost unul din fondatorii grupului The Ten (Ten American Painters) format din pictori impresionişti americani la începutul secolului douăzeci.
Cele mai renumite opere ale lui Childe Hassam sunt picturile cu drapele realizate în timpul Primului Război Mondial.
