Piesa "Starboy" dă titlul următorului album al lui Abel Tesfaye, cunoscut sub numele de scenă drept The Weeknd, care va fi lansat oficial pe 25 noiembrie 2016. Muzica şi versurile cântecului sunt compuse de The Weeknd, Daft Punk, Doc McKinney şi Henry Walter (Cirkut). Regia clipului noului single îi aparţine lui Grant Singer.
