Artista canadiană Avril Lavigne a lansat o variantă nouă a melodiei ”Warrior”, intitulată ”We Are Warriors” și videoclipul oficial al cântecului pe canalul său de YouTube în 30 aprilie 2020. Piesa ”We Are Warriors” (Avril Lavigne) este compusă de Avril Ramona Lavigne, Chad Robert Kroeger și Travis Randall Clark.
Cântecul original ”Warrior” se află pe ”Head Above Water”, al șaselea album de studio al lui Avril Lavigne, lansat pe 15 februarie 2019. Versiunea actuală beneficiază de acompaniamentul la vioară al starului american Lindsey Stirling.
Piesa ”We Are Warriors” (Avril Lavigne) este dedicată eroilor din prima linie a luptei contra pandemiei de COVID -19. Suma obținută pe Internet, datorită lansării videooclipului single-ului ”We Are Warriors”, va fi donată pentru combaterea pandemiei de COVID-19.
